We just talked my 12 year old daughter into watching Alien.

In two hours, we'll find out how terrible a parent I am.

Fun fact, if you play Tetris for at least 10 minutes or so within the first couple hours of watching a horror movie will lessen the likelihood of permanent trauma.

my kiddo ( 3rd grader ) recently did his informative presentation on arnold schwarzenegger , prob the craziest thing we've watched is predator for research haha . I think he could handle alien I've seen it on streaming and been thinking about watching it with him .

I sort of think it's good to see this stuff on the big screen with a good crowd , it really adds a lot to the experience and I would want him to have a chance to enjoy some of this stuff on that level .

alien is a great flick , I think I first saw it back in somebody's living room in palm springs when i was like 8 I sat transfixed through the egg scene and then I was like nope i'll check this one out later lemme play with this rubix cube lol

I remember watching Alien with my dad and brother when I was like 6 or 7. It was during the day and my mom was at work. We had the living room dark to make it feel like we were watching in a theater.

When the egg face hugger scene happened, we heard a loud crash in our house. Scared the sh1t out of me. My dad went to go look to see what happened and there was a fvcking car in our house. Some guy was speeding in the neighborhood and crashed his car into the house. Mom thought dad was joking when he told her there’s a car in the house.

Now I’ll always remember watching Alien and a car crashing into the house.

25 years after its cinema release it’s as originally bent as it ever was.

Kevin Costner is responsible for some of the most melodramatic, horrible sports movies ever.

Think I'm going to watch the 4k (original) Suspiria this evening. Uncut version means more bishes are gonna get cut.
