Perhaps too casual for this thread today:

Agreed. Talking of colours, following our discussion in the other main WAYWRN thread, I wrote up a blog post on how the neurophysiology of vision may affect our perception of different colour combinations (click to read).

Coincidentally, in reply to a question I was asked below the post, I mentioned orange/lilac/pink as a potentially nice summery colour combination drawn from an RBG wheel, but went on to state that it was historically more suited to ladieswear than menswear due to the feminine colour associations. Nice to come into this thread and see someone prove me right on the colour combination and wrong on the applicability to menswear!

BTW, I'm enjoying wj4's various posts in this thread a lot. Definitely casual, but definitely still consistent with a tailored look.

Paling into comparison to his colourful posts in more ways than one:

Holdfast what are those Chelsea Boots?
They look very similiar to my AS Kirkhams.

RM Williams. They're pretty rugged but I like them. One day I'll add a pair of sleeker-lasted Chelseas, but it's a fairly low priority, plus I'm indecisive about getting them in a dark brown or a black (sleek black Chelseas could create some nice effects with suited looks).

Day out with the missus. Raining most of the day, then it suddenly wasn't.

My concession to the sudden sun and heat.

I read, and I was awed! :D Honestly, that was a really interesting read; I, sincerely, recommend everyone, to go read it! :)

+1... A very interesting and informative post, Holdfast. I'll start to keep up with your blog, I found it a lot of fun to read! I'm sure it says somewhere on your blog, but in what area do you specialize?

Thanks, Holdfast! I only started my blog a couple of months ago and I'm now carrying a camera with me at all times. It's pretty fun and relaxing to take pics. Here are some older ones. I usually have a couple of detailed shots in my blog for the respective entry.

I like the less is more look.

Looks to me like you are wearing your pants a touch high though, I think a higher rise would suit your frame more appropriately. Good fit on the shirt and in the legs of the trousers.
After a year of lurking around the forums, here's my first post in this thread
