so the people who follow the normal buy/sell rules get shafted when it comes to this sample sale. in effect - "nice guys finish last".

he could most likely mark up the service boots by 20% and still sell them fast. Why wouldn't he do it?

Its not all about sales and cashing in for a company when it comes to promotions like this, IMHO.

Highly doubt he could mark it up 20% and sell out in same time frame. The discount is what everyone is after.

and it's always about cashing in.
