Someone tell me I need Whiskey Indys so i can talk myself into it

Just got a pair of Ravello shell boots and a couple of the speed hooks are loose after one wear. Is this normal?

i had never given any thought to the whiskey indy at all...until I saw them in person. wow...

had to get them.

This sort of tearing is one of the reasons I had the speedhooks replaced with eyelets. Eventually the leather will start to tear. it is probably something that you should address sooner rather than later. Do you lace your boots tightly? I do and I believe that may have contributed to the problem.

i love the machine stitching. gives the boot a cleaner appearance. very nice, uncle!
