I suspect the American media SERIOUSLY waters these things down. When that Turkish game errupted (maybe Egyptian) earlier this year there was barely a whisper unless you were reading British news.

ESPN has this all marketed as a "coming together" of great European powers - not a cultural clash as it truly is.

Watch the replay, he had let the ball slip before the defender came across and he didn't put his body behind the ball (thereby allowing it to end up on a silver platter in front of an empty goal). He won't be complaining at people blaming the defender, but it was clearly an error on his part.

Not necessarily. Arsenal are in need of a #2 striker. Bendtner and Chamakh both likely to leave (and not up to snuff). Park'll probably stay, but he's barely played.
