My dandruff went away completely after taking fish oil. Not sure what you can do to moisturize the scalp with a topical if you have hair it will make your hair look greasy. Emu oil is good stuff and it will absorb within 20 minutes so maybe you could put some on before you take a shower.

Use a mild shampoo without sodium laureth sulfate, cut down the regular use of T-Gel/T-Sal. Could also try Nizoral, which is head and shoulders on crack.

Tea tree oil I have heard is good too. Tea tree oil does inhibit DHT in the scalp but I have never heard of any topical having such a strong systemic absorption that it could actually affect your hormone levels. Jojoba oil would be good too, this is what kind of shampoo I use.

Seabuckthorn would be something else to look into. It will kill the demodex and all that stuff without killing your scalp too bad I'd think.

I use SOMERSETS Moisturizing replenisher, and sometimes The art of Shaving Sandalwood lotion. When I want it to really shine, I'll use the NIVEA. I've been shaving my head for ove a hear and like it.

I shave my head but never had the dry scalp problem. I use a kiwi oil extract, but have used tea tree oil (mixed with grapeseed oil and olive oil). A few drops give my head a nice shine and conditions my scalp.
