I like both. pinaple used to be a big indulgence of mine - my wife remembers I used to have a"birthday pinaple" because they were a little expensvie and that was the only time I would get a whole one.

but I really like fresh peaches, espectially the "donut" peaches.

and I love stuff baked with peaces, as well as homemade peach ice cream

Peach clafouti is great. I second the recommendation for peaches in curries. I used to make a delicious chickpea stew with peaches. The recipe came from Lord Krishna's Cuisine.

My childhood home had a peach tree in the backyard that bore large and incredibly sweet peaches every summer. I haven't had a peach as good in over 16 years.

And fresh peach melba pie.
