Tell me, what is "chicken pot pie?"
I ordered this tonight and received a steaming bowl of bechamel with bits of things floating in it.
Needless to say, I was nonplussed.
And now I feel like someone did a suplex maneuver on me.

There shouldve been a crust. Sounds like you received soup.
In my experience cpp is a stew baked into a crust(like a pie)
where did you eat tonight anyways?

It contained a crust of bread floating inside like a piece of jetsam.
Is this an avant-garde CPP?
Coming soon: CCPPP Carol Christian Poell Pot Pie.
I ate at some unmentionable watering hole.

I can't buy anymore. It's a sad Christmas. Some saudi billionaire put me out of business.

Speaking of the Saudis, I can't wait for summer. Dubai is my inspiration this year. Linens mixed with fine cottons and what not. Sandals with loose trousers. All white everything of course. Drapey gauzed out scarves too.

I got a kick out of the "hired Filipino bartenders".
didn't know Filipino bartenders were the creme de la creme of bartenders.
