For those more experienced, are the folks at lobb able to make a made to order shoe of one of their older models?

I am looking to get my hands on a pair of winchesters, and other than asking on the forum, am wondering what the best way to get a pair would be.

    Thanks all,

    Adam

They usually can for most models. Best way to find out is to go to a boutique store if you're near one and ask them.

My HAYES arrives tomorrow via UPS from Paris. Dark brown museum calf. First Monk. Looking forward to it. I hope the clasps are silver, as I was not sure about it from the pictures and when I looked at them in plum in the Geneva store they looked brass colored. Pics to follow.

You're going to love them and yes they have silver buckles. These Hayes are an absolute perfection of form and function. Congratulations!

P.S. Get some Saphir renovator, it's the only thing you'll need for a while.

Any chance that link could go up on the US site?
Edit: nvm, realized the button I thought was only for price changed storefront.
So, new question: what is Kendal calf, and how does it differ from calf or oxford calf? Google is not being helpful.

Many thanks. They are indeed stunning. Had to get used to the look on foot at first as I never had Monks to date. Did not take long to love them though. :)

I have Burgol Neutral cream. Also OK or is Saphire the one to get?
