These pants are from my Mark 1 Mod 0 P Johnson suit, on which the rise is too low. Therefore, when I pull them up high enough to be comfortable... it does crazy things to the length.
My pattern has since been changed.
That said, I will consider adding just a smidgen of break on future commissions, as well as cutting back ever so slightly on the suppression (and thus, allowing more room in the skirt), as suggested by Vox and others. I will not , however, be increasing the length of the jacket.
