A bit of below-normal weather brought out the tweed for what may be the final time this spring. I also wanted to try out these Filson whipcord pants for the first time before it gets too warm to wear them. Too casual for a jacket and tie?

Jacket: Oxxford camel hair
Tie: BB Makers
Shirt: BB
Square: Ken Wang
Trousers: Filson whipcord
Shoes: Vintage Florsheim Imperial longwings

I know. Mila Jovovich also from Ukraine.
Me too  Most of Ukrainians can speak in Russian and Ukrainian

Oh ok... well clearly you have expertise in this area. That's interesting tho'.... the languages are somewhat similar??? I know nothing about Ukrainian.

btw Kapp... I like your "funny stuff" fit today.... creative and interesting :nodding:

It is an English spread that was misbehaving.

I take you to be a gentleman, CP, so I will raise an eyebrow and say no more.

At the end of a long day, finally back to the hotel room:

Hello Gents! First post here at the forums....glad to be among you all. Seems like a great vibe here in the community. Just a quick casual, poor attempt of a shot after work today to send off this introduction.

Yeah they are quite similar. There is three country with similar languages. It's Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. Although I was born in Ukraine my first language was Russian and Ukrainian was second.

And thanks for comment :nodding:

Thanks.

These pants are from my Mark 1 Mod 0 P Johnson suit, on which the rise is too low. Therefore, when I pull them up high enough to be comfortable... it does crazy things to the length. :paranoia:

My pattern has since been changed.

That said, I will consider adding just a smidgen of break on future commissions, as well as cutting back ever so slightly on the suppression (and thus, allowing more room in the skirt), as suggested by Vox and others. I will not , however, be increasing the length of the jacket.

Please don't, I'm also a fan of slightly shorter jackets, being a young guy and all... They just look better in the modern world and the current fashion/aesthetics. One cannot possibly completely ignore all that.

Do the tie properly, dont let it be so long, use cufflinks and were is the blazer? If so you should lose the tie and just go casual.

Why do people wear jeans with a jacket and tie? It just doesn't look good, jeans are for casual wear. Keep it that way!

Agree with that, but jeans would be great with a shirt and a blazer without a tie aswell.
