My visit to a sculpture garden. Maybe it's a bit late for linen, but the coat was just right for the early autumn inbetween.

I have ditched my vintage 30's style for modern suits and classic hats.

I really like the look. But I still think it is risky to go to club with suit+tie+hat

Just out of curiosity, do you always dress like this to club?

I like this shot a lot, though you both look a bit like dead-eyed hitmen in this photo.

Kent, the shoulders look a bit big on you in this photo. Is it just the angle, or are they really that padded?

It's because we're inscrutable orientals. We cannot be scruted.

The shoulders are a bit on the heavy side, but other photos I've taken with it don't look so extreme. Anyway, I'm gonna overhaul all my jackets and suits soon.

I agree that iammatt is an asshole, and I don't know exactly why he's such an asshole, but face it - he and a handful of other posters have made this forum what it is. The reality is that it would be a substantial net improvement to this thread and to this forum if you, Louix XIV, and niidog were banished and replaced with a few new fit pics from matt. It's reasonable that he gets different treatment, in the same way that in the university context, a curmudgeonly but distinguished senior professor can and should get away with a lot more than a snot nosed college freshman.

^ Great conservative business dress stuff. I actually like the more restrained combination more than your more flamboyant fits.

^^ tie is tied too long, which combined with its contrast makes it look a bit odd.

like the pants, shoes and socks though. is that a navy SC?

It hits right at my belt buckle, I thought that was correct? It might look a little longer in the pic since I have my arm raised. SC is dark brown. What do you mean by the contrast of the tie?

in the picture it looks like the tip is at least 2cm under the bottom of your belt, which for me looks too long.

i should have been more specific about the contrast, i just meant that the combination of the length/width of the tie and the stark contrast with the ensemble (particularly dark, casual SC) isn't doing it for me.

i dunno, the picture quality makes it impossible to get an idea of how the textures are working together, so that's something..
