More vintage and 2nd hand: A 1940´s smoking from a fleamarket in Skåne, an old Borsalino hat, a Stenström shirt and the bow tie I had when I graduated 1970.
The event: A Gatsby-party at A.Marchesan. One of the best vintage shops for gentlemen in the world.

I don't disapprove of hunting, as you've told to each his own. I just don't like doing that myself, cruel or not killing is killing and I've already told my point of view on killing, regardless human or animal. Well yes, the idea of slaughterhouses and animal abuse is torturing me, but i don't see any solution, if they were killed, not buying that meat will not stop it.

I don't want to derail too much so this will be my last word on this. I completely respect your views even though I may not share them. I will say this though, one of my philosophy professors once said 0x1000=0. Meaning that if no one thinks anything makes a difference, nothing will change. Even one person not buying meat from cruel producers is a start.

Thrifting is a very fascinating sport. It´s like hunting, fishing or gold digging. It cost time, not money. And you need a good dry cleaner and a taylor for minor adjustments. But if you can find taylor made suits or so called premium brand garments for $1, $10, $50 instead of $1.000 - $5.000 you can easily afford the taylor. Good luck in fishing. Some people think it is a little dirty with second hand clothes. But do they have the same feeling about laying between the sheets in a luxury hotel?
Hal, you look just great. Is everything you are wearing here thrifted? Thanks

But I'm not sure one is supposed to "have fun" at a funeral (only place for black suit, white shirt, black tie, IMHO).

Yes, I would have worn it with a nice red tie (to make sure it was complete SF kryptonite).
