I like your hat by far the best. It has the most character. You know how to wear it!

Thank you, Tibor - one hat wearer to another :).

Wear your pants like a man challenge. All pants must be high rise. All pictures must show off this rise to great effect.

I think peacock shirt challenge will be it... I don't think many people here own true high rise pants (1-2 inches below the ribcage, otherwise you're not a man)

I might suggest a context challenge. No rules per se, no required items, just a theme, such as "club night" or "a day at the races". Everyone takes that and goes with it, and we judge on who has the best fit within the context of the event. Someone might have an amazing outfit on, but if it doesn't look like something you'd wear to the club, or the races, or whatever theme you decide on, then it doesn't get high marks. Make sense?

Sounds interesting, but that would require people to have the actual pieces to build an ensemble for a particular event, which might limit the number of contestants way too much...

I dunno, I mean, everyone goes out to eat, sees a show, has a day at the park. That means everyone has something they wear in any given context. The idea is not to limit, but to just see how everyone dresses for the things we all do. And them judge them! lol

Linen trousers and hats did the same. That's kind of just the way it is. I may not be able to participate but it sounds cool. Good idea in my book.

My theme would have been maybe colors of your country or something, not sure if that would have been a good idea.

And I'm not rich or even near. Heck, I bet for the average of this forum, I'm an indigent. Extremely humble job, social life, home, etc. Coat and tie for work, old t-shirts and jeans for hanging out at punk bars - quite funny. You don't see anyone on my income level dressed in coat and tie, much less voluntarily, but I just like it and happen to have some expendable money from time to time...

i believe that would be most people on the forum, myself included.

Congrats Mr. Díaz! I really liked the complete outfit.

Moral of a fable: if you have a good outfit assemble, try to get a nice picture.

I disagree. We need to all get our phones, set them on a timer, stand in front of a white or grey wall, robot pose.

That way, all the surrounding elegance is gone and we get some common ground to stand on.

:-D
