the black service boot (hopefully sooner than later as i have a feeling summer's gonna hit early this year). is it as freaking hot down there as it is here right now?

yeah it's already getting hot, after our weak ass excuse for a winter. You definitely do not need a jacket for South Texas winters.

I'm waiting for the Black (and Brown ones) too. Although I think I missed the boat with the brown ones; I changed the requested size down one and that size in reserved. Sizing on these is whack!

Seeing as we live in the same city, I'd say you might need really need a jacket for a handful of days. It is a little upsetting as it's hard to justify buying expensive jackets :/

True. I went back and forth over the Spurr peacoat for this very reason. I probably wore a coat 10-15 times this past fall/winter.
