We have put together a small pilot program to allow for online ordering of custom shirts. For those of you not familiar with CEGO, CEGO has been offering custom men's dress shirts out of manhattan for over 25 years.
The shirts will be made by the same people to the same quality standards as the ones our made-to-measure customers receive. All of the shirts are made here in the USA.
I have tried to keep the process simple and user-friendly, but practically any aspect of the shirt can be customized - just ask. The starting line will have about 100 fabrics, all priced under $150.
I stole some measurement pictures and wrote a small guide to self measurement. How this works is that you can either select one of our 5 ready-to-wear sizes and then make changes in future orders, you can modify the rtw sizes against your own measurements, or you can completely measure yourself and we'll make a pattern based on those measurements. The less confident you are about measuring yourself, the more you should rely on our RTW patterns. After the first order, you can send us pictures and we'll discuss what we think would be a better fit.
I have taken your input to Carl along with my suggestions, and the ready to wear sizes have been heavily modified since the first version of this thread. We have tapered the hips and waist in substantially to create a nice, slim fit. The complete measurements are at the end of this post
To answer the most commonly asked question I get via PM: You do keep the first shirt. So please measure yourself well.
