^^^ I have NEVER had a shell shoe roll like that. I can only surmise that these shoes must have been WAY too big for their owner.
My Carmina navy shell wholecuts after a great many wearings:

That would be a nice MTO
I have been working on an MTO Chelsea in grey suede. I was thinking of doing a bit more casual Chelsea for travel, weekends, etc.
My thinking is:
Chelsea in grey suede on Sollar Last
Reverse welt in natural edge trim
light brown Dainite sole
Elastic in either charcoal grey or navy

suede color

welt & sole color

anyone interested??

You guys should consider Simpson for Chelsea's, fit is more forgiving than balmorals instep wise and they are sharp as hell. I think my black calf ones are my fav pair of boots

I would be more interested if I had any clue how the Sollar last fit.

I actually had a chelsea MTO in mind which I spoke with Steve (Gentlemen's Footwear) about. I thought about more of a spring/fall/mild winter makeup.

This is what I had in mind:

Last: Inca/Forest (dosen't really matter)
Dark brown (chocolate) suede
Single Dainite sole

Anyone interested?
