and this one at Brogue...

This is just so bizarre. I've been looking at the Bonneville boot for the past two days and had pretty much decided on it before I posted my initial inquiry. Somehow I completely missed the Warriors boot. Oh well, problem solved. This checks so many boxes for me. Though this will serve more of a business casual/dress boot, I actually (strangely) prefer hooks. Love the flat welt and it will be nice to get back into a pair of neocork.

Long story less long, I've found a winner. Much thanks to all and especially @theratpack. Found my boot!

Hope y’all have been well and enjoying the holiday season. I know these aren’t boots highly ranked on anyone’s list, but these Alden for JCrew Alpine grain wingtip boots are extremely underrated. They really do look great and are quite comfortable. On top of that, I got these a few years ago 40% of with an additional 15% off, when the website did not exclude them from their holiday sale.

I'm certainly no expert, but I think they are really nice boots and regret not getting a pair. I think they are the reason I bought the Ealdwine Hargett boots, closest I could find.
