This is just so bizarre. I've been looking at the Bonneville boot for the past two days and had pretty much decided on it before I posted my initial inquiry. Somehow I completely missed the Warriors boot. Oh well, problem solved. This checks so many boxes for me. Though this will serve more of a business casual/dress boot, I actually (strangely) prefer hooks. Love the flat welt and it will be nice to get back into a pair of neocork.

Long story less long, I've found a winner. Much thanks to all and especially @theratpack. Found my boot!

They really do look great and are quite comfortable. On top of that, I got these a few years ago 40% of with an additional 15% off, when the website did not exclude them from their holiday sale.

I'm certainly no expert, but I think they are really nice boots and regret not getting a pair. I think they are the reason I bought the Ealdwine Hargett boots, closest I could find.

Aberdeen is a great boot last...it isn't "clunky" it is "sleek" and some, but not all, styles work well with it.

Sun was starting to set a little by the time I took these photos so the color may be a little warmer than they look in person, but these 405's have absolutely more of a pumpkin hue to them than the reddish brown.
