Yep, they raised prices by $55-$90 on everything.

All the EU shoemakers are doing this, TLB Mallorca hasn't yet but they will.

AE hasn't raised prices (yet) and Alden raises then $5-$10 a year on average.

I take exception to Alden. They do it to leverage brand reputation and fleece more money from their customers.

They were originally brown but after many layers of darker cream and wax, today they are dark brown.

Got my boots for date nights. As always, far impressed with CU so far out of the box. Superb quality and finish, surpasses Carmina now in my book.

Hello everybody,

It’s been a while since we’ve been able to drop in more personally. First, thank you so much for all the beautiful photos and discussion everybody has brought to this thread. Community is everything for a business like ours, and nobody is more passionate than the gentlemen here.

Now for an important update: it’s been 5 extremely rewarding years belonging to the StyleForum community, however, we have to put our Official Affiliate status on stand-by for the time being. This thread will be locked by December 20th.

We do want to assure you, despite our leaving StyleForum, Cobbler Union is not going anywhere. We’re still working away, adding valuable members to our team, bringing out new products, and taking on the shoe world full-force. We’re more optimistic and more excited than ever about what we have in store for you. Stay in touch and don’t miss out!

Thanks again to all of you and to StyleForum for being gracious hosts to us and the rest of the shoemaking world. Our respect for everybody’s passion that keeps this craft alive is endless.
