I've found some nice kicks and even a good tailor care of this site. Time to return the favour...
So I'm no hairdresser or anything and I don't even use conditioner. Just a man who cares what he looks like. I've tried countless hair styling products over the years and believe I have found the top three. I will explain why they are the best starting with:
1. V05 Rework Fibre Putty. It holds great and is extremely versatile. As the name suggests, you can also rework it with minimal flaking once your hair is dry. I actually find my hair turns out better after reworking.
2. V05 Styling Wax. Doesn't hold as well as the fibre putty but flakes less. In fact it doesn't flake at all. Also moisturises your hair whereas the fibre putty is more dry.
3. Gatsby Moving Rubber. I've tried the pink one and the grey one. They are both great so it's probably safe to assume the entire Moving Rubber range is equally good. Has a much stronger hold than the V05 products. But because the hold is so strong, it is extremely hard to wash off and that's why I rank it in 3rd place.
I have short-medium hair and usually wash and towel dry it before applying one of these products as I find it usually turns out better when the hair is slightly damp and dries with the product in it.
All 3 products share the same qualities in that they are versatile, hold well and don't flake much (if at all). They all provide a natural look so you don't look like you're wearing a piece of plastic on your head.
