Which of the pale blue poplins is the lighter, the 140/2 or the 100/2? On their website, the 140/2 is lighter, but the 140/2 swatch is darker – not sure if they switched them around.

Hi all,

I'm getting ready to place my third Luxire order. They've made me such a snob! I may never purchase another shirt at a store again :) Anyway, I've ordered only shirts thus far, and in my experience they certainly do get the measurements exactly right. This was a little surprising for me, for example, in the collar, since the way I've typically measured left a bit more wiggle room.

I am intending to include a pair of dark blue trousers in this third order. I'm wondering if anyone here with some experience can give some general tips on fit for pants specifically from Luxire in light of the parameters they ask for. Thanks in advance.

Just received my shipping confirmation email from Luxire this morning! Tracked the package right away and it says it will arrive in Maine on Thursday. Seeing how I made my order on August 5th this is fantastic in terms of turnaround time for a custom shirt order. Already impressed and I don't even know how the shirt fits yet! Great Stuff.

I made my first shirt order late last Wednesday night London time (6 August) and have received confirmation of shipping today (12 August). So far so good...

Seems like they really upped their turnaround time. Ordered two shirts three days ago. Starting new job Friday, so hopefully they'll be here soon.

For the bottom end-on-end, the photo is quite accurate. It's similar to the sky blue chambray fabric in saturation, but even lighter. It's a very nice fabric, I have a shirt with it in pink.

Does anyone have experience (swatches/shirts) of the cheaper blue end-on-ends (links below)? It's only my second Luxire shirt so I want to stick to the cheaper fabrics.

They all look fairly similar from the photos on-site, but I'm wondering if there's much of a difference in the saturation/brightness of each.

Everyday Shirt Pale Blue End-on-End
Steel Blue End-on-End
Business Pale Blue End-on-End
Pale Blue End-on-End

I have two shirts in Pale Blue End-on-End 100/2 and it's a great staple blue shirt. Feels nice, not too hard to iron, excellent value. It's a significant upgrade from the sky blue summer chambray, which is a similar fabric that I ordered previously.

Thanks folks. It's toward the upper end of what I want to pay (at least until I get the fit fixed), but probably worth the $10 all the same.

Does anyone has experiencies with this fabric http://luxire.com/collections/linen-shirts/products/cotton-linen-racing-green for a summer Shirt?

I bought a long sleeved button down shirt in this fabric earlier this summer, and I've used it every week since I got it. The fabric is soft, breathable and lightweight, so it makes a perfect summer shirt IMO. The dark color eliminates any see-through problems, and the linen/cotton mix means that there's less wrinkling than with pure linen. I'll definitely be ordering more shirts in 70/30 % linen/cotton before the next summer.

Have the orders that were accepted been notified? I received an email saying spots were left but nothing beyond that. Fingers crossed!

Sad I didn't make the cut, but eager to see what bags get made!

I wonder if $100 is an approximate cost for when Luxire ultimately officially expands into bag making. Still could be interested in getting my design made.
