Interesting. I tend to untuck mostly in the summer, and then I found that buttondown collars, pockets, and plackets seemed slightly warmer than without. So all my casual, untucked shirts were as your formal, tucked ones were. I experimented w/ different configurations for a few years, but I pretty much get just two types of shirts, both with placket and pocket: spread with side pleats and buttondown with box pleats. The only exception is really casual shirts, and they get spread collars with side pleats and two button-through pockets. I like pockets for sunglasses, tickets, nephews' toys, etc. May get buttons on pockets from now on, mainly to slip the sunglass temples through so they're less likely to slip out.

Do not currently have a photograph of a shirt/shirt-jacket made of the fabric, but would be a great choice for a shirt like that, along with the Blue Linen.

Agreed, obvious logos/tags are a no-go.

I am interested in another type of garment at the moment.
Looking at the Australian Open I think Novak Djokovic is one of the few athlets who wears well fitting shorts.
You would not think they are hard to find, but they are.
I have tried on Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Nike and UnderArmour, none of them offered something similiar.
Uniqlo, the sponsor of Djokovic, does not seem to sell the collection he is wearing :puzzled:

Maybe you would be able to offer something like that:

My thoughts as well. But the company where we got these made insisted they be big and visible.

Their reasoning: Large logos are making a comeback. They make leather goods for most of the major designer brands ($500 wallets) and claim to be in the know.

Went with the flow and kind of like it now. Replaced my Burberry as soon as they landed

Honestly, I have no idea about the fabric.
Uniqlo calls it Dry-Ex, I guess its 100% synthetic to be lightweight, not to absorb sweat, to "not cling to the skin" like Uniqlo calls it and to be elastic.

I like a lot of things better on the Uniqlo than on regular sports shorts.
1. The legs are cut very slim, close to his thighs
2. The rise seems to be low/the legs seem to be cut very high so he does not have a diaper ass
3. The shorts run till short above his knee, neither above it or only till mid thigh
4. The fabric looks matt instead of shiny
5. I like the Australian Open design which is plain all navy instead of the usual side stripes
6. The pocket construction as explained by the Uniqlo link sounds very useful for athelets who have sweaty hands like myself
