Lovely!!!!!!!! I've already started to collect money for CarminaHere is the price list, valid up until the end of the year.
This is the stock list. Please note that we can't accept pre-orders until the end of August, and shipping won't be until October (we open October 10). For further enquiries feel free to PM or e-mail me [email protected] or our store manager [email protected]. We will also update our web page with all the models and pictures of them.
I'll post in this forum as soon as we have the new web page up and running and when we're ready to accept pre orders.
Regarding the Carmina factory in Inca on Mallorca:
Several years ago, I rented a car and drove to Inca to try and find the Carmina factory. Supposedly it exists, but I could not find it, even using GPS and stopping and asking for directions/whereabouts/etc (even asked the local police to help me - they had never heard of the place). It does not have an actual address (strange, I know), and is supposedly located right off the highway near the Camper outlet. I found the Camper outlet, but Carmina's factory was no where in sight. I was also told they did not sell shoes at the factory (from the Palma shop manager).
If you have time, do try and find the Carmina factory - I couldn't.
It's really hard to find and it's a very small factory. Apart from the administrative and creative staff maybe 20-25 craftsmen. I could not find it by the GPS either; the address I got from the Carmina-people directed me to a residential area across the road. But regardless, they did not seem to have a factory outlet (like EG etc). They did seem to have a more or less permanent "discount shelf" in the Palma store though, maybe that's the best bet for a good discount deal on Carmina shoes while in Mallorca.
sorry for ignorant question but is meermin part of carmina? there is a thread that implied that carmina has a 2nd brand. If it is part of carmina will you stock it as well?
No; they're not part of the same co. The families of the owners are related.
interesting... hows the quality,
carmina > meermin?

I've been bad.......
At least they weren't expensive. And Carmina seems to always be worth the cost.
So ends my self imposed moritorium on purchases. I believe it's been about 4 months!
