The Chromexels were from Epaulet, and they included the Dainite sole.

Just received those a couple of weeks ago, so I have yet to wear them yet.

I had planned on wearing them with jeans though.

I ordered the cognac shell double monks and can't tell from the photos on Carmina's website (dark brown) or kayjaybee's photo (light brown). I was going to get a MTO in saddle shell, but if they are truly light brown, then that would be wonderful.

I just received my pair. They are very close to the website colour, and I'd say that the below image is fairly true to colour. I was hoping for a bit lighter shade of cognac noting what a lot of other people had been receiving, but I'm very happy with them.

^ I really wouldn't recommend a cognac MTO, just because of how much the shell can vary. Everyone has a different preference for which shade they want, so obviously not everyone can be pleased with what they get.

I remember someone mentioning that they requested dark or light cognac when they did a MTO with Betty a few pages back. That said, an individual MTO is super pricey these days :/
