Happy Leap Day, everyone!

So, some bullets about a plain fold hanky (you are doing much better with them BTW):

  • Almost all of the time, do edges out, like this example.
  • All of the time, fold it a bit sloppy, like this example.
  • Unlike a stuffed hanky or square, show as little as you can...just peek over the pocket. You have too much.
  • The hanky should always sit at an angle to the pocket. While I slope mine downward away from center, don't do as I do. Most of you will look better if you slope it upward away from center.
  • The most patrician plain fold is the single iceberg triangle, but it is very easy to do this wrong. Avoid it.

My squares usually don't stay in place unfortunately. After a while they seem to fall out of shape, which makes me have to adjust them every couple of hours or so.

Have you tried the squares from Savile Row's Paul Jheeta?

I love paisleys, both neat and large-scale, but there's something about this particular tie that is unfortunately spermy.

This comment appears to be below your usual standards. At the very least I would have expected a Lewinsky joke...

Does it get any better than this? Bathroom mirror, leaning against the counter, arm up and crooked, sunlight over my shoulder. Oh yeah, I’m ready for the runway. Well, at least the blue gingham looked good in person. Cheers gents.

Thanks for the thumbs-ups over the past couple of days. I've been browsing via iPad and iPhone, and I was unable to reciprocate due to a bug.

If only. With his dosh, I'd have a Vox-like dressing room instead of my puny closet!

It's the graded shading at the edges and strong black border more than the scale; gives it a certain 3D/"looking down a microscope lens" appearance....

Damn, I guess the iPhone camera quality made the paisleys more sperm-y than usual, because the tie is more textured IRL. Oops!
