    Double Monk-strap are in overload production right now. Appreciate your single Monk-strap shoes which are less casual (IMHO) than double Monk-strap.

    She could have been attracted to my bright colors, she was pretty hammered and had no sense of balance...of course when she handed me her card and told me to get more drinks, I obliged. Went from drinking the house white wine to DP rose.

    A question here: what is the fascination with four in hand tie knots? Tailoring is done within a millimeter, belts not being fitted to belt loops is chastised, breaks on shoes is hypercritical, etc., etc. but a crooked four in hand with the narrow blade showing a little seems to be "the look". That low precision knot makes all the other fussing with details seem to be for nothing.

    I always thought of 4IH to be the knot of choice for teens bagging groceries. Taught to them by their dad who is forced to wear suit n tie and ties the most expeditious low effort knot possible.
