I've started adding regional user groups which are public and joinable by anyone. You can join as many as you want. The idea is that you join regions that you live in or frequently visit, and events/sales/etc can be easily posted to each region. I haven't worked out exactly how it will work at this point, but right now I'd like input as to which regions should be represented.

So far we have:

Canada
Chicago area
DC area
East Asia
Europe
Hong Kong
Japan
Midwest (USA)
New England
Northern CA
NYC
Pacific NW (USA)
Southeastern USA
Southern CA
Southwest USA
UK

If anyone thinks their region would have a great enough concentration/population to warrant its own usergroup (and thus be a useful group to join), yet is not represented, please speak up and I will add one for you.

If people think I should split up any region groups, let me know. (e.g. East Europe/West Europe/etc.)

To join them, go here: http://www.styleforum.net/profile.php?do=editusergroups (User CP > Group Memberships)

I think there are a number of Australians and New Zealanders on the forum so how about an Aus/NZ group?

Cool idea. I think you should split up Europe a little bit though. How about Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Scandanavia?

How come Africa's not included? Racist. ...and Australia/NZ's not included too. But that's okay.

I don't know if SFers ever have meetups, but it would be a great thing to organise every now and then. Are there any Brisbane members around?
