This shows all the special groups:

http://www.styleforum.net/showgroups.php

I think there's a way to show just the members of a specific group, but that helps for now. I'm looking into how we can use the groups and I'll set it up so hopefully (maybe only certain) people can send a mass PM to a group etc., or see if the calendar can be set up to notify people in a certain group about an event... not that people tend to use the calendar. But it's there, so it must do something.

J,

Is it possible to post messages/events to group members yet? I don't see anything for it.

I think it's going to have to be a plugin, which I'm looking for. I kind of forgot about this idea. But in any case for the moment you can at least check out the list of people in the groups and send PMs to them.

Laffertron,

Yes, there are a few of us - myself, Neyus and The False Prophet are the only Brisbanites to post with any regularity, although I have seen another couple of people from Brisbane post very occasionally.

I agree that it would be nice to catch up and have a chat some time.

I guess us Jersey folks are resigned to joining the NYC group or, I suppose if you live in South Jersey, the "Philly Tri-State" group - though, I have to honestly say that I never even heard of "Philly Tri-State".
