PM'd this to Mauro, but thought I'd ask here.

My APC NS: tagged 31" and stretched out to 35".
Lee Gold Label 101z: tagged 33" and stretched to 36".
Acne Moc tagged 32" and stretched to 35".

All are comfortable.

So which size in 5ep x SF?

32" or 34"?

I prefer slim, not stupid tight.

Thanks.

Sounds like you'd want a 33, if available. Or 34. Not a 32.

Lost my head ... 33 or 34.

I would have gone for the 33 but denimbar site suggested sizing up.

I can't say it enough: if this is at all a concern, JUST SIZE UP. They fit like a classic tapered cut if you go up one. I did, and they're the most versatile jean I own; the opening fits over most boots and a size 12 Dunk Hi.

From your normal waist size.

For example, let's say your best fitting pair of jeans measured 32" at the waist brand new (forget APC, that's a confusing example).

You can get a 32 in the 5EPxSF for a modern pseudo-skinnyish look, a la the original pics from Sauce.

Or, you can get a 33 for a more classic look, along the lines of vintage 505s.

Well, my actual waist is 34.5, so not sure that would work out.

I figure I'll shoot for the 33".

Thanks.

I think you're going to want the 34. These stretch, but not a ton.

lefty, get size 33. You're the same size as I am in the APC NS and Lee 101z, and I'm a 33. My size 33 SFx5EPs are very similar to my size 31 APC NS.
