I can't believe the pure cashmere sportcoat is still sitting here. If only it were my size! But it's not, and so it haunts me, like the Tell-Tale Heart, only without the sound of a watch wrapped in cotton.

As such, I'm going to drop the price to get one of you misers to open up your wallet and give it a good home. Retail was almost $2,000; my price was $365; price now $320 shipped in the U.S. That's $320 for a pure cashmere, new with tag Polo sportcoat! You're talking Arnold Brandt prices here!

Someone PM me soon, before I begin to foam and rave.

As an owner of a near-identical cashmere Polo jacket, someone REALLY needs to buy this - it's wonderful. It's possible to create some nice looks with it.

eg.

Thanks for the kind words, Holdfast. Won't be long before it's off to eBay. I am, however, going to try to make the Orvis trousers a bit more attractive, pricewise. Because you have to touch the cloth to feel how nice it is, I can understand why some folks are hesitant to pull the trigger. So now the price is only $40 shipped in the CONUS. At that price, you can wear soft, luxurious wool/cashmere trousers to do yard work. .

Alright, I've been convinced. But my monthly budget is going to protest over this...

PM sent!

It's sold and shipped already, I'm afraid. I need to update the thread from "sold pending payment" to just plain "sold." The two remaining -- brown and gray -- are pretty spectacular, though.
