Recent 1818 suits are made in Italy. Does anyone know the manufacturer? I'm just curious. This thread provides no clear answers. (Caruso?) Also, I just acquired a new old stock 1818 suit on the B&S forum. It's USA made. Was it done by Martin Greenfield (same maker as Golden Fleece)? Also, when did BB switch 1818 production from USA to Italy?

I believe that USA 1818 is from Southwick (owned by BB) and the Italian stuff is from Lardini.

Ah, Southwick makes sense. Lardini is surprising though! They make great stuff, of course.
