Asian kids who think that their skin colour prevents them from succeeding should man the **** up and take responsibility for their own actions. Sure, there's maybe a tiny bit of latent racism left, boo-*******-hoo. Nothing you can do to change it, no point in whining. Get out there and live your life.

shmucks like us spend our time discussing why asian people suck and will never amount to anything. meanwhile, this guy banked over a billion when the AMD buyout occurred

people - asian and otherwise - who place too much faith in plastic generalizations run the risk of being unable to break out of those molds. this is a critique not only of asians who build their private self-fulfilling prophecies, but of the rest of us as well.

born in Porto Velho, Brazil to a French mother and Lebanese father. The overseas Lebs in Hispanic countries are doing very well. Just like the overseas Hindi, most were members of the upper class in their home country before leaving so there's a very selective group of emigrants.

Whenever I see asian guys around uppity women they just seem out of their element. Most asian women are fairly submissive and domesticated. Match up a typical asian with an uppity latina or white woman and the asian will rarely get his way in a conflict.

As for romance, you never see asian guys doing stuff like holding hands or flirting with random women often. Even in committed relationships, you never hear romantic stories about valentines days or even marriage proposals. I cant think of one asian male induced marriage proposal that started out with something that wasn't as dry and distant as "We talked about it, and decided..."
