didnt get it from Hummingbirds Hill tho (great shop btw if anyone's ever in Tokyo near Ebisu/Daikanyama), Retrickers were selling a pair in my size for about $375 shipped

I would guess most guys can go half size larger than their "perfect" size and still be totally wearable. Esp if you are in the smaller range where there seems to be more margin of error in terms of being a good fit half size +/- and I'm fine with using a gel insole if it's slightly loose, or in case of boots wear thick socks

but obviously everyone has their own perception of a good fit so YMMV

I'm up for black scotch grain or maybe suede, I haven't seen Tricker's suede in LW boots.
