Follow up on my first post. I originally posted in General Chat...

I know there is not much on my site, and my Facebook page is still in the works.. But I wanted to actually take some time to add a little more information on what I can offer. Like most made to measure company's out there, I offer most of the High End fabric. From Holland and Sherry to Scabal.. Huddersfield cloth, Dormeuil, Vitale Barberis, and many more.. I have all of my suits tailored here in the U.S.A, nothing is sent overseas.. My hopes are to eventually have everything done via social networking.. I would love to utilize Facebook and wordpress to conduct most of my business as this would make it that much more personal... I don't want to try and even compare myself to some of the established company's out there, because I can't. I was another frustrated shopper trying to find a quality suit at a nice price.. I was turned off by some of the made to measure companies out there... most everyone seemed to offer the best suit... But the reality is, they utilize the same Wool mills and tailors... Most send their fabric overseas to be tailored and to me the suits quality is degraded. I do want to say that I have made contact with and have established a good relationship with my fabric dealers and my tailor.... and being that I am a start-up, I want to offer a full canvas Bench made suit with all the handmade details starting at $795. I also have 2 other grades of Tailoring with some suits starting at $595 Full canvas... I currently reside in Tempe, AZ and am willing to meet at your home or office... or even Starbucks... Please any advice or info would be appreciated... and please follow up as I will eventually have my site and profiles updated. I will be hosting an event offering some great deals in the near future...

Sounds like a good idea. If you think that you can run a profitable operation by offering a U.S made, fully canvased suit for $595-$795 then more power to you. I wish you the best of luck.

I am assuming that you would take the measurements of the client yourself, if that's the case; do you have any past experience in tailoring? In other words, can you accurately interpret your client's body shape to the block pattern you are offering?

Please keep us updated with the advancement in your business and show some work in progress. I would definitely consider your service in the future.

Great Questions.. I am actually going to be taking a measuement and fitting/alterations course given by the Custom Tailors and Design Association.. But until then.. for local clients I have a great tailor who will be taking measurements and also doing the final fitting.. and for clients out of the local market, I would have them get their own measurments.. Either themselves or with a local tailor in their area.. If there is a charge for measuring, I will reimburse up to $15... Basically take that off of the final price... $495 to $795 to me is a great deal... I will also have suits that range up over $995 and that is using some of the high end designer fabric.. I basically want to cover a wide range of budgets... I am going to update and track all of my progress via my blog at suitupshop.com My plan is to keep my clients informed on the progress of their suit, and post pics of their final product (with permission of course) to show off the actual garments.. all of this via the blog as well... I also have a facebook profile, and for the first 10 people that follow me there, I am going to offer a great deal to get the product out..

well, since it looks like you don't mind feedback, the tux picture isn't the best.

Not only is it so far away that you can't see much detailing, but the fit looks a little off to me.
