Why is noone talking about THE DUBAI DOUBLE MONK (SUFI?) SANDAL?
Why is noone talking about THE DUBAI DOUBLE MONK (SUFI?) SANDAL?
I can definitely picture the asian ones selling like hotcakes in Japan, China, and Taiwan - it looks like they took the typical shoe styles prevalent in that part of the world and Lobb'd them out. With the exception of the hideous New York shoe of course.. who the f*ck would ever wear that in ny
Personally, I feel less inclined to buy from Lobb the further they move away from their core demographic.
FWIW, I haven't bought a Lobb shoe for about 3 years because of their increasingly weird designs. I don't have many JLPs in total (3-4 pairs IIRC) and what I have are RTW, so I'm far from their target market. But still, at least 2-3 of those were bought from Lobb themselves (not seconds/used/grey market) so there is a small legit financial impact of my disinterest in their recent collections. But I'm absolutely sure they've gained many more new sales in return from those who appreciate these designs.
