I envision an 11EEE to have the proportions of a long box of kleenex.
Not quite that bad, but they certainly aren't sleek.

Here are my 7118s. I got them a few weeks ago. Not as much color variation.
After figuring out my size in Barrie, Trubalance, and the Hampton last, I've found that almost no one carries a 10.5 EE or 11 EEE, especially in cordovan. I'd love to put my name down for some of the fall orders for J. Gilbert, but I can't find a plaza last shoe in 11 EEE to save my life.

These are much better matched than the previous example, where the color variation seemed (difficult to tell with the photo) extreme.
Look nice; plaza last is always a good choice.
Hey Alden Lovers, This is my first time posting on the Forum. I've been monitoring the site for a weeks in anticipation of joining the team. Last week I received my first two pairs of Aldens. The J.Crew Alden Long Wing in Whiskey and the Tassel Loafer in Calf. I know cordovan is the preferred upper of the site, but still being in college makes my wardrobe extremely casual cool, it seemed a little to dressy for me. Anyway here is my first of many troubleshooting questions: Thanks in Advance I was out the other night with my Longwings on. When some goof spilled wine on my shoes. Bummer I know. The next day I used a damp towel to wipe off the stain and now one shoes is a lighter color than the other. My OCD is flaring and I need this fixed. Please HELP. Troubled Alden Lover in Missouri
sorry Tobacco - and since it was not mentioned I figured it was ok to repost. Thanks
Here is an image of the LW's. I'm sure it sounds novice, but any advice is greatly appreciated.
