May as well stick around. Plenty of people ask 'stupid' questions around here, myself included.

I don't think they were referring to any specific problems with the shoe, it just just does not really conform to the general styles that people around here prefer. General styleforum groupthink dictates that shoes should be brown, lace up, rounded toe, made in England or US. There are lots of exceptions of course, but that is the basic philosophy. That said, if you like your shoes and they fit well then enjoy them, they actually look similar to something called the Oneshoe that got a lot of attention on here--- and don't leave the forum. Everybody here showed up with square toe Ken Coles, boot cut dad jeans and one suit that was 2 sizes too big. A year later they have bespoke suits made of unicorn hair and custom shoes made of Russian reindeer.

Oh my lord, that's so true.

Some of us just can't afford to spend $600-$1200x4 on "styleforum acceptable" John Lobb, Tom Ford, or Edward Green shoes...so we have to "slum" (lol) with Florsheim Imperials, seconds Allen Edmonds, or the like. Poor us,
