Umm, you base this on what? Have you seen the rest of the season already? Wrote the next season?

As to what's in the books - Almost none of this. Almost none of this.
So you have even less reason to know we'll be pleased. Well, carry on then.

No one expects The Walking Dead to be Shakespeare but every show needs to live by the rules of its world and that last episode strained them very badly.

The shooting-zombies-in-the-head is awesome but it's scenes like the beginning with the two sisters fishing that really get to me.

No, but I have read the books, and they are excellent. It takes a bit to setup but once it gets going it doesn't stop. They've got a tough time trying to translate it all to TV but there is more than enough great material to work with. When I said that almost none of it was in the books I was commenting on what the people were bitching about. The main characters are there and the story line should progress along the same path. Read an interesting spoiler today:
That they're going to turn Merle into The Commodore

man some of you guys are really dumb. you don't know how to enjoy a decent tv show.

great series. just the right amount of headshotting zombies.

i really hated both the blondes, especially the one who survived. hopefully she dies soon, too.

i still think that there could be some significance to the helicopter rick saw in episode 2.

Which "rules" were strained?

You have a point, but I suppose we can make the argument that because the cholos live in a more secluded spot, they can keep the zombies at bay. The army draws more attention to themselves, and maybe draws more zombies, and became overwhelmed. I don't know. At the end of the day, abandoned and bloodied army strongholds just look cool, I guess.
