When will it be ready, Trini? Looking forward to seeing the resulting suit.

He said about a month with about 2-3 fittings in between...

Yeah...I don't think he has a ton of orders in right now so he's able to dedicate the time to mine.

Went with a chocolate brown silk lining and will specify dark brown horn buttons.

The brown was inspired by one of your choices...

I am touched... Will look great with the navy.

Suggestions as to what (if anything) I should get made out of these pashmina cloths. Personally don't think they work for any western outfits. I am thinking of getting a kurta out of the light colored cloth and a Nehru style vest with the darker cloth.

Funnily enough, the MBT wanted me to go with something flashier and brighter...I was insistent on it being toned down.

Hehe. You were right. I think you get bored quickly with flashy stuff. What did he suggest: Attolini-pink?

He preferred something like a light blue. Once upon a time, I would've been all about the flashy lining. But that was about 8 years ago. I just mumbled something about it having to be conservative for work and he seemed to understand.

I think it's his way of having fun and I deprived him of it. Oh well - he'll live (hopefully long enough to finish the suit).

Isn't Pashmina like a really light cashmere type of wool? Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think it would be suitable for a coat.
