I wonder if anyone has any experience buying, wearing or simply judging the skinny jeans look with a baggy waist and long rise. I am imagining something like the Cheap Monday 'Riding Space' model shown below. Any other suggestions for a similar look? Is this a good look for someone who is only 5'9"?

I can't imagine anyone looking good in it.

Imperial Shearers might be similar. Dukes are skinny w/ high rise too.

The tapered leg and high rise make it look like a carrot. I had a similar problem with a pair of Acnes, but not to the extent of the ones in this thread, and ended up returning them.

That style of jean would only look good on someone of shorter height. You'd have to also have a bit a sag to pull that style off, so if you don't mind your boxers/undergarments showing, I saw you could pull it off if you're shorter and thin.

Julian Red has some high-rise cuts, most notably detroit with the 14" back rise. They are not, however, very skinny.

I have a relatively large waist big thighs and a decent size butt, which usually makes straight leg jeans look super baggy. Somet 030, full count 1108c, and the waxed blackboard jeans fit me best. I'm thinking weird guys should fit pretty well, along with original standards, though I haven't tried either on.
