So I'm thinking about having a suit made up in a Prince of Wales fabric (with a blue windowpane), but something around 14oz. Single breasted, 2 button, nothing controversial.

I havent come across many options that really grab me.

My ideal fabric is the London Lounge Coops2

but there is no more available sadly.

There is the P&B Universal

but thats getting a bit heavy at 15/16oz

and the Dugdale Worsted

The problem with these is that the blue is fairly subtle, and a plain PoW just looks a bit older than i want (at 28). Does anyone have any feedback or experience on the above cloths, or can recommend some other PoW or glencheck options?

Perhaps you have a suit lengths worth of Coops2 sitting around you might part with?

there is one in the Ice book from Dormeuil. That is the one you want. Makes up really well. Has a clean, fresh look to the cloth.

Are you referring to the one which has a very thick blue overcheck ? I saw this H & S sometime back and it feels very nice though it was quite pricey here in India something like 275 USD a meter

I know there are 2 POW patterns in the Dugdale Cape Breeze book, though this is significantly lighter than the 14 oz you are after and it is not a blue overcheck.

I believe Minnis' Fresco range also has something similar in a blue overcheck.

minnis fresco is also too light

there is one in the minnis flannel book that is 15-16oz, but the blue is pretty discreet

I think the first and the third are the best. I am currently getting a suit made up in the third posted fabric as we speak and I am 24. I also have a very dark charcoal pow with a thin stripe overcheck that it barely noticeable for afar. I like the modern "fashiony" look of a classic pattern.

The Harrison's flannel book has a worsted flannel in PoW with a decently bold blue overcheck.

If boldness is desired, the Scabal cloth posted by mafoofan is tops (search for it)

It's nice, but a lighter weight flannel, if that matters.
