I like the color combo, particularly the orange tie with brown sportscoat... if I may be so bold as to say, IMO the tie looks a little too "skinny" for your body and lapels.

I don't think 3 buttons is doing much for you. Also, there's something off here - see how the jacket collar is sitting up on your neck? could be high button placement, shoulders too wide, etc I'm not sure. Also, not a big fan of that tie at all...

Good to see you back. Not sure about that watch. and I think that color blue of the sweater is the wrong shade for you. It's too light and summery with a business dress as well. A simple, say orange and brown and white argyle, or plain navy, might blend in better.

Fits very well, especially for a gift.

The upside is I liked his PS situation.

^ Vox - you're not allowed to wear that jacket anymore. I get too jealous that I don't have the fabric. That is all.

I have an unmade jacket length of the same Scabal herringbone in a different color, blue-ish, but still multiple secondaries, and a windowpane overcheck.

Not quite sure what to do with it yet...might give it to Edwin.

The pocket placement on that MBT™ isn't so high as some of the others. I suppose this was after some corrections? I love that tweed cloth.

It was put up between 1892 to 1894 from rocks forming the glacial moraine on which this part of the city is built.

While I am old, I am not old enough to be responsible for the fence nor is my clout great enough to have something historic removed for modern taste. The stone fencing used to parallel a crushed stone carriage road, which I'm sure benefited from all of the horse manure.

It is, indeed, at a normal height.

Scabal's fake Shetland tweeds are rockin'.

Oh BTW, I love the coat. Much better than yesterday's train wreck.

Throwing my two pence in to the ring - brighter plain shirt - maybe 'Doc Holiday white'? would help - I think the dark plain tie works. Alternatively say sod the tie and go for an ascot

No doubt about it...the gun club is hard to pull off. I wouldn't claim that I have yet. There were warnings from many quarters, both reasonable and strident.

Perhaps it might get altered...

Thanks, but don't tempt me! The blue also sounds very nice. I've been looking for a light blue (like a deep sky blue) donegal tweed with multi colored speckles for a few years now. I saw it once in a random house book and thought I'd ponder rather than pouncing on it. Bad idea jeans were worn that day.
