for those of you that live alone, i ask you the following questions:

when you go to bed, do you close your bedroom door?
do you lock the door?

when you use the bathroom, do you have to close the door?
do you lock it?

i have been living alone for over 2 years now and i cant go to sleep unless my bedroom door is locked, and i cant shower or drop a duece unless my bathroom door is locked.

how strange is that???

Very.

I don't even know if the locks work. The only time the bathroom door is closed here is when one of my kids is over for a visit. Oh, and I think one of my cats shuts himself in there to smoke while I'm away.

i do all of that when im alone. its more so because my imagination goes crazy and all i can picture is a figure walking in front of the door while im looking at it. but when im alone ill also open up doors etc to make sure noones there. since the computer is facing the wall i also constantly turn back to see if anyone is there etc.

I don't live alone, but if I'm alone I don't bother closing doors/wearing clothes/whatever.

I've always kept the doors in the bedroom and bathroom shut, mainly out of habit, but never locked.

no on all acounts...All doors stay open all the time, (except when there are guests ofcourse. There is no greater joy when on the crapper, music going loud and the door open so you can hear it. At times the laptop comes along so i can post on SF

When I used to live in a studio, I still closed the bathroom door. It didn't stay closed most of the time though.

I lock my bedroom door at night. I figure if someone is coming to kill me in my sleep, they will either have to kick the door open or pick the lock. Either way, it would increase the likelyhood of me waking up.

I never close the bathroom door, though.

I don't live alone ... but there are times I am home alone.

When you go to bed, do you close your bedroom door? No.
Do you lock the door? Not the bedroom door ... only the exterior doors to the house.

When you use the bathroom, do you have to close the door? If I am alone, no.
Do you lock it? No.

I live with my mom, but I don't ever lock my front doors, let alone my room.

only time room door is locked is when I'm sexing or I lave my house. But when I buy my own place, I will not have to do this anymore!
