I thought you were making a mockery of the question I posed but good to know you laughing.

Its just we arent built the same way. For one, one drink is enough to stagger while to another its just like water.
I ask the question because I have friends who don't drink. Its such a mood killer when one decides to go home instead of joining the rest of us for drinks at a bar. I really think its a waste to have a soda in a fancy glass in a bar just to make everyone happy.

any suggestions for non-alcoholic cocktails greatly appreciated. (no shirley temples please)

FYI, I really do like my alcohol...

Soda and bitters or soda and lime are actually really nice to drink. Some people drink tonic and bitters, but they're crazy in the head.

1) make some coffee
2) get a blender
3) put some milk in that blender
4) put some coffee in that blender
5) put some ice cream in that blender (favorite flavor that would mix well with coffee like mint chocolate chip)
6) put some ice in that blender
7) blend that blender
