At first, I thought it was a stalk of rhubarb. I'm not sure though.

Looks nice, Norcal. Although, I'd suggest you replace that bamboo board with wood, as bamboo can be pretty hard on your knife.

Are you suggesting that it is less than fresh looking? You're right. The color is a bit ******, although it was better in real life. I have a wood cutting board as well, for whatever reason I was not using it.

btw, yes that was a spring onion. the bottom of the bulb had some weird soft spot so i sliced it off.
