Someone should be Joseph Ducreux for Halloween
Are there any cool Canadian brands other than Wings + Horns and Naked and Famous?
one of you caucasian fellers could do this. I'm trying to think who but I will probably come up with it later.
Saw a fake Balmain suitcase today, I would have thought Balmain would fly under the radar of counterfeiters
Blanc & Noir out of Vancouver is doing some really great things, and i'm excited to have their stuff coming this Fall. Dana Lee is a personal favourite, though she's based in New York now. There is also, Krane, Viberg, Paul Rose (from the N&F guys), and a bunch of stuff i'm probably forgetting right now.
Because Balmain doesn't have huge street recognition. A fake LV monogram is desirable for people because it's easily identified as a luxe item (albeit fake). 90% of people are going to see Balmain and think nothing about it. There is no status symbol except for the small group of people who pay attention to fashion and none of them are going to be impressed by a fake.
balmain jeans and that rider jacket are two things I can count on seeing on just about any website in korea that sells fake ****
you in the bootlegging capital of the world, though, i mean, who fakes julius basics and damir doma sweatpants?? that is some next-level copyright infringement
