I also find it hilarious that everyone on this thread keeps avoiding the media censorship issue. Someone please respond to this - why is it Canadian basic netork TV is allowed to show movies uncut, nudity at all hours of the day and swearing - you know "uncensored", but the American media goes on lockdown when a nipple is shown on TV for a second or someone swears on an awards show?
I would like a response to this direct point please. Why are the FCC such ******* assholes and why do TV shows have a censor? Why can't ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox just issue a warning and show uncut programming? Like Canada does.

I said far left without exception. I am that. Are you? I will vote on the side of freedom of choice every time without fail. I am not tied to any religious or moral position that would make me think abortion for example is wrong. It should be the woman's choice. Also, no government position on any type of marriage between consenting adults. Any type - heterosexual, homosexual, plural, etc. should occur without restriction. The government should be completely out of the marriage business, because any government involvement in marriage is inherently restrictive of freedom.

Yes, but what about other issues? I mentioned abortion - what's your stance on that? What issues if any are you more conservative about?

I believe the woman has the right to choose how she manages her own body. I think abortion should be legal up until the point that the fetus is able to survive on its own. At the age of viability, I believe the fetus should be granted the same protection as its mother. Basically, once it's a person it should be endowed with human rights.
Fiscal matters. I'm a die-hard fiscal conservative.

Which is fine and I have no problem that they exist, but they go about it in ways that force their opinion on others and they believe they know what's right to the point that they are in everyone's face and cause trouble for a lot of networks. That is more than just freedom of speech.
