I'm wanting to pull off a look something along the lines of this:

Feel free to just say, don't bother if you think it is ghastly. But i love the combo of smart and casual. I always wear t shirts with blazers and blazers with jeans etc.

So basically what i need is....Where could i find shoes like that? What is the best "style" of shoe?

Are there any variations anyone would recommend aswell??

I usually wear checked/plaid shirts with my jeans.

Son of a *****.

If you have little questions like this, they go in the "Ask A Question, Get An Answer" thread at the top of the page.

Also, read about 50 pages of WAYWT. It will answer most of your questions.

Please do a tiny bit of research before you decide you need a new thread.

Also, quick tip: if you are trying to make yourself "the plaid guy" among your group of friends, you're doing it wrong.

I don't understand why people assume they need their own incredibly unique style right off the bat. Wear what you like, and, sooner or later, a pattern will emerge.

Please don't look at a plaid shirt and think, "Oh, that's plaid, I'm supposed to like that, guess I'll buy it." That's lame and bad.

See also: people who decide bow ties will be their "thing", people who decide they'll just wear this one leather trench coat all the time and then everyone will know them by their sick leather trench coat, paired with some sweet Dockers or Wranglers, etc...

I don't mean to be rude, but, how on earth do you think you know what im like? What makes you think im only wearing plaid because i think it will get attention. I wear plaid because i like it, i find it comfortable. I don't buy any plaid because it is plaid. I hate some types of plaid patterns. So don't come here and tell me what you think i am, when you don't have a clue.

you've done the equivalent of pissing in the lobby when there's a sign pointing directly to the bathroom right in front of you

Maybe he couldn't decide whether to choose the men's or women's room in his great haste ? ( I'm sure you can tell him a thing or two about it... )

Wow, I can so picture me doing that.

Hey Plaidy-teen, what you've posted isn't exactly groundbreaking. it's a plaid shirt, jeans, and leather shoes instead of converse. Welcome to early adulthood. I'm not sure what you're in doubt about. Go to any mall in America and you'll find all that stuff. Check J-Crew, Banana Republic, Zara, H&M, etc.
