  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Wow those are nice. Never heard of that shoe maker. Would love to hear your thoughts
This is my third order from them. My first order was vanilla. I didn't make any changes. As soon as I placed the order, Sandeep, their US representative, reached out to me to confirm my size. He asked me to make drawings of my feet, measure them and send them to him via WhatsApp. I really appreciated that. It was a pair of double monks that came out beautifully.

My 2nd order was a pair of Chelsea boots, but I substituted Horween grain leather for the standard and again they were beautiful.

For the third one, I asked them for shell, red stitching on the uppers, and Dr. Sole soles. They did a brilliant job again. They didn't charge me for the customization. They asked permission to use it for a trunk show in London before shipping it to me. They also created a new item based on my order. When you go to the website, it's actually my pair in the photographs, which is kind of cool.

Between my first order and my last, they have blown up and haven't been able to hire enough staff. Sandeep told me that they need to move into a bigger space in India as well. This has pushed out delivery dates from 3 weeks to about 8 weeks. Personally, I think they are still worth it.

They are on Instagram if you want to see more of their stuff.

Links are always appreciated. Checked out the website and it certainly seems promising. Also enjoyed reading about your custom work. Very cool.

Loving my Dinkelackers. If anyone could tell me more about the 4 digits that would be great.
