no, a german. executed by a bespoke shoemaker. the pictures are not to compromising. http://www.newsaboutshoes.de/showthr...hlight=Corthay never been a fan of these procedures and do not buy too much into it. but the materials used for sole, heel and the inner parts(footbed etc.) look inferior, at least to me. certainly they are gemmed
Brunt pine, I think
I always wondered how a longwing derby would look without any brogueing on the topline. Unfortunately, this is yet another Allen Edmonds design that I don't desire and the brogueing along the throat lacing as it curves to the longwing just looks undesireable.

I'm sad I didn't order the OneShoe with double soles. I'll probably have them re-soled with double soles when the time comes.
